A HISTORICAL UNBEATEN T20 WORLD CUP WIN FOR INDIA IN 2024
After a drought of 11 years India won the 2024 T20 world cup . Though ICC holds a tournament almost every year but we must realize that it not easy for India or any other country to win an ICC Trophy every year. West Indies is the only country to win two T20 world cups back to back in 2012 and 2016. Following it is India to have won the inaugural T20 World cup in 2007 and then in 2024 , England won it twice, one in 2010 and then in 2022. India remained unbeaten in all the matches even though the final was extremely close with South Africa. Though Indian captain Rohit Sharma could not score well in the finals but in most of the matches he gave a good start with a lot of fours and sixes along with rest of the batsmen, also the bowlers bowled well including.
